Today is National Cookie Dough Day, and as a fan of the dessert, I felt obligated to post a cookie dough recipe. This cookie dough is completely, 100% safe. There are no eggs and the flour is heat-treated. The dough takes only a few minutes to make and serves two people, so it's perfect to share (or sneak into your room to eat by yourself)! Do yourself a favor and try this recipe!
Ingredients:
6 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 Tablespoon + 1/2 teaspoon milk
Pinch of salt
3 Tablespoons chocolate chips
Directions:
1) In a small bowl, microwave the flour for 1 minute. Set aside.
2) In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. I started off with a spoon but ended up having to mash the sugar in with a fork. Fold in the flour, using a fork to get rid of any lumps.
3) Stir in the vanilla and milk. If the mixture seems too thick, add more milk, 1/2 teaspoon at a time.
5) Add in the salt and chocolate chips and stir to combine.
